Osborne celebrated its 125th anniversary this year with a couple of events. The 8th August home game was the main celebration with a history book of the last 15 years, compiled by Liz Lane, launched during the afternoon.
Special guests were Kevin Sheedy (former Richmond Player & long-term coach of Essendon) & Ariel Annott, the great, great granddaughter of Henry Osborne.
Kevin spoke about his experiences over the years as a coach & mentor. He was heavily involved in getting the Anzac Day match & Dreamtime at the G started.
The afternoon also saw the arrival of historic tractors that took a lap around the ground. Quite a sight.
Celebrations continued over the evening with quite a few past members & players coming back.
