Pleasant Hills Community Hotel: Run entirely by volunteers from the community, the pub serves drinks and meals on Friday and Saturday nights, and drinks on Sunday afternoons.

The village has a public school (K-6), preschool (Tuesdays and Wednesdays), Post office and general store, Lutheran Church, Memorial Hall and a showground offering "free" (donations recommended!) camping.
Surrounded by productive farmland, the district produces wheat, canola, and sheep โ and the seasons shape the rhythm of life here.
