We held our May meeting in Henty. After our big birthday in April, all agreed we’d had a lovely time. State Conference was held in Gosford, and Carol and Nett were our delegates. Both our student cooks from Pleasant Hills School who had cakes in the State Finals got Highly Commended Awards. Our Handicraft plate of food didn’t get a prize but looked great, as did Toni Hasler’s cushion.

The Show Committee reported $170,000 at last year’s Show and the raffle made $18,000 for Disaster Relief. We held a Cake Stall at Bunnings raising $1000 for RFDS and Pancreatic Cancer Research. Recipe Books are selling well, hoping to raise $1000 for the Hall.

Three members attended the Group International Day in Wagga. Next meeting: 10am 10th June at UPA Meeting room in Lavington.
