This month, I’d like to share a project I have put together over the Christmas break. As you may be aware, the Pleasant Hills Hotel undertook a revamp of the accommodation rooms in 2025. During this process, we found two patchwork quilts made and donated by Susan Creek.
Susan generously committed much of her time to our local community over her many years living at Pleasant Hills. When I learned that her quilts needed a new home, I came up with an idea to display them at the Hall.
The quilts are now installed in a cabinet at the Pleasant Hills Hall along with a printed copy of the story of her life. Susan was one of the founders of the Pleasant Hills patchwork group that still meets at the Hall once a month.
